Wisconsin Literacy Inc

Our literacy coalition improves lives through leadership, support and and a statewide voice for adult and family literacy efforts.

Three Regional Literacy Consultants (RLCs) work to provide instructional and financial resources, training, and on-site assistance to 77 member literacy agencies throughout Wisconsin.

In addition, we offer services to help new and emerging literacy agencies become established.

We collaborate with the Wisconsin Technical College System, the Department of Public Instruction and the Department of Children and Families to provide statewide leadership to community-based literacy programs.

Our Wisconsin Health Literacy (WHL) division works with both literacy and healthcare  professionals so they can better serve adults who have limited health literacy skills.
