Wishing Star Foundation

Wishing Star was founded in 1983 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. To date we have served almost 1250 families. For 30 years Wishing Star Foundation has been changing the lives of children battling life-threatening illnesses. We begin our services to wish families by granting a wish for the wish child. We strive to strengthen wish families over many years through continued support before, during and after the wish has been granted.  We believe “once a wish family, always a wish family.” This is what sets us apart from other wish granting organizations. Some of the ways we support wish families are through our Beyond the Wish Program which provides countless opportunities for recreation and fun for the entire family and our Christmas Program which helps struggling families during the holidays.
