Woodland Recreation Foundation

Woodland Community Foundation supports the City of Woodland Community Service Department and provides financial assistance for recreational programs for all ages in the Woodland Community.

What we do: fund new construction and restoration of recreation facilities; sponsor tournaments and recreational events; and secure funding from major foundations and private individuals

Our community impact for 2020: served 50,000 Woodland citizens; provided $188,000 for 7 projects; and brought in $210,00 in new revenues

ASSISTED THE CITY OF WOODLAND COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

• Provided funds to cover costs for City of Woodland 4th of July Celebration, including an aerial fireworks display;
• In conjunction with the Clark Field Restoration Committee, managed and financed upkeep and improvements for the historic Clark Field Baseball Field;
• Sponsored the Disc Golf Tournament at Ferns Park; and
• Sponsored the Coach’s Rock Steady training.
