Woodlawn Restorative Justice Hub is a unifying force, drawing across the Chicago community to engage young leaders in long-term Leadership Development, Violence Prevention, and Peace Building. We support those most impacted by violence with a holistic approach of Healing, Economic Empowerment, and Civic Engagement.
At the Woodlawn Restorative Justice Hub, we adopt a holistic approach to youth development, recognizing the intrinsic link between Youth Development and Violence Prevention. We understand that systemic racism has placed Chicago's Black youth at risk of toxic stress, leading to depression and anxiety. Our mission is to address these issues comprehensively, offering support and resilience-building to let our youth know that it's okay not to be okay sometimes. The Woodlawn Restorative Justice Hub is currently recruiting Young Leaders between the ages of 15 to 24 to participate in our upcoming five-week intensive cohort.
