Wood Middle School PTA

Wood Middle School is a public middle school serving grades 6-8 in the Alameda Unified School District (AUSD).

Wood Middle School prepares students to be lifelong learners who competently navigate the changing demands of the 21st century to positively affect the world. Our goal is to prepare students through rigorous and relevant content with an arts and sciences integration to be productive and successful citizens by developing both a strong work ethic and the critical thinking skills needed to solve problems in the real world.

We are a STEAM school! STEAM is a way to teach how all things relate to each other, in school and in life. It’s more fun than traditional learning styles and makes more sense to all types of learners because it is based on the natural ways that people learn and are interested in things.
