We are creating communities where all people can live and love freely, without fear.

We mobilize our member programs and allies to end domestic violence through advocacy and action for social change. We improve how communities respond to domestic violence and are working to create a world where all people can live and love freely without fear.

We are the leading voice for ending domestic violence in Washington state. As a coalition of 70+ shelter and domestic violence programs, we are a powerful, effective voice with a national reputation for innovation, excellence, and coalition-building. We also engage survivors, victim advocates, and community members to take action, shape public opinion, build strong and effective services, develop leadership, and prevent violence in our communities.

We do this by: providing support and professional training to 2,500+ victim advocates annually; piloting new creative solutions for housing stability to end homelessness among survivors and their children; advocating for laws and public policy; educating the public that domestic violence in preventable and providing prevention materials and education; and providing leadership to the field and building the movement to end domestic violence.
