Weilenmann School of Discovery

Weilenmann School of Discovery is a tuition-free K-8 Utah public charter school located in Park City, Utah.

We offer an innovative and expansive program, taught by effective teachers and guided by the most successful proven practices in education.

Our students thrive in a close-knit and caring school community, and benefit from a Liberal Arts curriculum that integrates visual and performing arts, outdoor education, foreign language, PE, and digital literacy into the core curriculum.

Our program builds competency in the core academic areas of Math, Science, English Language Arts, and Social Studies, and provides project-based learning experiences and technology-enhanced learning supports.

WHY YOUR SUPPORT IS SO IMPORTANT

As in most public charter schools, government funding covers only about 80% of operating costs. The Annual Fund and other fundraisers help cover the remaining 20%.

Weilenmann School of Discovery is a non-profit Section 501(c)(3). A gift to the Annual Fund of our school supports the people and programs that make WSD so special to our community — an expansive academic program, innovative curriculum, effective teachers and specialists, student supports, digital learning and literacy, character education, and exceptional offerings in music, art, adventure PE, and the outdoor experience — all reflecting the best research and proven practices in education.
