WSIE 88.7 The Sound is our region's only 24/7 NPR Music FM radio station, dedicated to featuring Jazz, alongside its companion genres of music. Dubbed as "St. Louis' home for great Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Blues, Easy R&B and so much more...," WSIE is a 50,000-watt, non-commercial, educational broadcast facility, serving the Greater St. Louis Region.

Yes, we provide our listening audience with an intelligent blend of Jazz-centric music, but we also provide our students with an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on broadcasting experience while volunteering with WSIE. Thanks to their experience with WSIE, they're ready to hit the ground running after graduation.

WSIE is a community-supported radio station and we rely on contributions from individuals just like you in order to continue our mission. We've been a vital part of St. Louis for over 50 years and we plan to serve this community for another 50 ... but we can't do it without your help.
