Wyld Womxn

Wyld Womxn is an intergenerational grassroots community organization based in the Coachella Valley. We provide safe and inclusive spaces that empower all women & non-binary folks through education, wellness, collaboration, activism, and the arts. We tap into our unique lived experiences to listen, share, connect and help build healthier and sustainable communities through creative expression and wellness.

Wyld Womxn runs multi-disciplinary arts & wellness programming from our monthly creative workshops, critical thinking spaces, and wellness resources along with our artist panels, art exhibitions, and public arts programs.

Our past and current programming have included a Book Club, Sisters in Studio (A skill share studio & feedback night), Creative Writing Group, Supper Club, Community Gardening, Hiking & Nature Club, All Things Queer, Entrepreneurs roundtable, and our artist-led workshops for the public.

Wyld Womxn provides our community with mentorship, professional networking spaces, and opportunities to expand their leadership skills by serving on our leadership team.

Our work includes an interdisciplinary & healing approach to the arts, community organizing, and wellness-sparking essential conversations on what it means to be actively creating positive change in our own communities by engaging in community-based art as a tool to strengthen and build inclusive spaces where we can work to create sustainable futures for all.
