Xi Community Empowerment Advocates Inc

Xi Community EmpowermentAdvocates, Inc. is an organization with the goal of "Opening Doors to the Future" for youth and their families through various educational and social activities. The activities will explore  resources in the community that give opportunities for improved social, academic and culturally diverse awareness. The primary  goal  is to develop positive behaviors and relationships, through ongoing mentorships..

We have developed a series of activities that encourage parents to advocate for their children.  We encourage writing and sharing their ideas and presenting them to their peers. By the setting of immediate and future goals and exposing them to national youth entreprenuers and local and prominent positive figures and rewarding consistent follow through. Parents meet with the group at specified intervals and participate in  field trips, relative to the activities in and around the community.  

The community will benefit from this project through more civic engagement in their communities, a mental wellness, which will prevent destructive behaviors in schools and the neighborhoods, as well as higher graduation rates. They will hopefully evolve into a strengthened community of actively engaged citizens.
