For 120 years, YWCA Utah has stood alongside women and families as they navigate some of life’s most pivotal moments. For 50 years, our domestic violence shelter has provided safety and stability for those seeking space to heal, regroup, and move forward on their own terms.

Our work is not about saving. It is about creating conditions where people can reclaim safety, rebuild stability, and define their own futures.

When survivors have access to safe housing, when children experience consistent early education, and when families are connected to resources and opportunity, generational cycles of harm are interrupted. It strengthens families before crisis escalates and supports long-term wellbeing across our communities.

Through safety services, early education, leadership development, and advocacy, YWCA Utah invests in dignity, stability, and the capacity of individuals to contribute fully to their families and communities.
