Yavapai Casa for Kids Foundation

A nonprofit organization

30 donors

For over a decade, Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation has helped provide for Yavapai children in foster care and support the work of CASA volunteers by offering special projects, activities and funding for the needs of children in our communities—Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and Dewey-Humboldt.

What's CASA?

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. CASA participants are community-based volunteers, certified by the Arizona Supreme Court, who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children. They advocate for a safe, permanent, nurturing home.

Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation is the first organization in Yavapai County to be designated a Qualifying Foster Care Charitable Organization, where every dollar donated stays in Yavapai County. Cash donations-- including those given on Arizona Gives Day-- are now entitled to a tax credit of up to $500 for single individuals and up to $1000 for married couples filing jointly on the Arizona tax return. Best of all, you don't have to itemize! For more information, check out our website.
