Yavapai County Education Foundation

Today more than ever, students need and deserve professional educators who “go the extra mile,” to design effective, creative classroom instruction, and who love and respect the children they teach. Budget challenges, student assessments and staying current with educational methodologies all impact how teachers approach each day of instruction. In Yavapai County, our students are fortunate to sit in the classrooms of men and women who accept and even thrive on the challenge of being a teacher in the 21st Century. 

The Yavapai County Education Foundation honors these dedicated teachers each year with the annual Teacher-of-the-Year awards program. This honor not only recognizes these outstanding teachers but also awards grant money for teachers to use in their classrooms. 

In addition to the Teacher-of-the-Year grants, the YCEF also awards several classroom and school grants for special project as well as scholarships for prospective teachers.  

Thanks to our generous donors, teachers of Yavapai County are able to receive the much needed financial assistance and recognition they deserve to better teach their students.
