At Yemaya’s Village Inc., we believe every mother deserves support and care during one of the most transformative moments of her life. We are a dedicated nonprofit providing no-cost doula services to pregnant and newly birthed mothers in Louisiana, focusing on BIPOC women and girls aged 13-25 in underserved areas.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to ensure that every mother receives the emotional and physical support she needs, regardless of her financial situation. But we can’t do this alone. We’re currently raising funds to sustain and expand our vital services, which include personalized birthing support, postpartum care, lactation support educational resources and our community doula training.
