MISSION STATEMENT

As a volunteer grass root 501(c)(3) not for profit charity, YES WE CARE, INC. is designed to help improve the quality of life for our Veterans, children and those with cancer and life threatening ailments, the homeless……. the ‘forgotten’.

Yes We Care fills the need for information, emergency assistance, rides, health and wellness information and resource lists, food pantries and mental health aid. We provide a “Helping Hands” gift bag filled with personal hygiene items, food, socks, gloves, books, magazines along with our YWC Emergency Information Kit.

Paul ‘Sequence’ Ferguson is Founder and served in the U.S. ARMY for 13 years.  He dedicates every aspect of his life for the betterment of others’ lives, many of whom are long-term, in-patient suffering from cancers and other illnesses, which are often forgotten. In addition, Paul pays special attention and reaches out to our homeless. Yes We Care reminds those in pain or in need that  ”YES WE CARE….You Are NOT Forgotten!”

Paul is a two-time prostate cancer survivor. In 2006 he launched, Yes We Care, Inc. Some of the charity’s campaigns have included  free concert fundraisers, Helping Hands Emergency Gift Bags,  raising $10,000 for Long Island Cares for their efforts in feeding the hungry, donation of 1,000 pairs of designer socks for prosthetics, book drives and the ‘$5 Thank You Gift For The Homeless” campaign. Participating in community events and ceremonies, Celebrity Golf Classics, Concerts and Veterans events provide opportunities to reach those in need.

Paul has the gift to inspire everyone around him and he is not just one of the Heroes on Long Island, he is truly an Angel among us.  Paul and the ‘Yes We Care’ charity have been honored by their efforts to better the lives of those in need, no matter the cause. Paul was presented Proclamations and certificates of appreciation for his efforts from all arms of our government, including the NYS Governor. Paul was also recognized by the S.C. Legislature presenting him additional honors, including November 11, 2013 dedicated to him.

Music has the ability to heal and aids in treatments for all types of Traumatic Stress Disorders including generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anger management, among others. Paul, a world renowned Jazz Musician, performs regularly for charities. He provides the healing power of music and also uses his talents as a photographer to provide inspiration, motivation and relief from pain medications, anger management and post-traumatic stress disorder.  Paul’s Healing Power of Music Stress Management Relaxation DVD & CD box set combines his smooth original music and beautiful and powerful imagery, transporting you to the deepest level of relaxation. Suffering patients have used this to aid in the treatments of stress management, relaxation therapies, reduction of pain medications, to motivate and inspire them to heal.  The donations raised will allow for production and free distribution to more than 10,000 suffering patients.
