YMCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee

The YMCA has been a part of Nashville and Middle Tennessee since 1875. Today, we reach more than 271,793 lives through 30 centers and 301 program locations in 12 counties. We live our not-for-profit, charitable mission daily by providing life-changing programs and services that enrich people from all walks of life. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide an endowment fund that will support the YMCA of Middle Tennessee for generations to come. The priorities of the endowment are to support expansion of buildings and facilities, development and training of professional leadership, major maintenance and extension of services. The endowment's principal remains intact, while earned income goes to support the work of the YMCA. In this way, the Foundation's principal grows through capital appreciation, and the YMCA receives revenue to further its mission of being a worldwide charitable fellowship united by a common loyalty to Jesus Christ for the purpose of helping persons grow in spirit, mind and body.
