Yosemite Elementary School Parent- Teacher Group

Our mission as a California Distinguished School, is to provide high quality educational experiences that meet the needs of all students, focusing on established academic standards, maximizing student potential and striving for individual academic excellence, within multi-graded classrooms.

We envision Yosemite Yosemite National Park Valley School as a center for the development of enviromental and cultural knowledge about the Yosemite region.  The Yosemite region is the context for integrating learning and for becoming responsible, accountable, and respectful citizens of the earth.

We see ourselves as partners in learning that is based on participation, appreciation, and contributions within and beyond the community. Students are encouraged to be creative and critical thinkers, problem solvers, and effective users of technology.

Our teachers are one of the most instrumental parts in our children's education and development. Without these most amazing people we would not have a school. With the budget cuts we are facing we are actively fundraising to keep our teachers employed. We would be very grateful in your donation consideration.
