Young Authors Publishing Comapny

Young Authors Publishing is a nonprofit children's book publisher that exists to share the stories of children living in vulnerable communities. Our mission is to use book publishing as a vehicle to economic mobility for our young authors. During the Experience Program each young author is paired with a trained writing mentor to help them create their story. 

Once their manuscript is complete and the production process begins, young authors are taught the fundamentals of financial literacy, entrepreneurship and public speaking. Once their books is published on all bookselling platforms 80% of the book royalties are deposited into a secured savings account for each young author to access at 18 to use towards their post secondary plans. The remaining 20% is directed to the nonprofit for programming costs to continue offering this opportunity to more children.

With the cancellation of Power Up along with many other summer camps/programs we understand children need activity during these summer months now more than ever. In response to this need for the first time we will conduct our Experience Program virtually in the Summer.
