Young Catholic Professionals - South Central PA Chapter

YCP South Central PA's mission is to help young adults in the Harrisburg Diocese learn how to incorporate faith into all parts of their life, including their work.  To do this, we host 4 different types of free, monthly events throughout the year: Networking Happy Hours, Executive Speaker Series, Panel Discussions, and Retreats.  We also offer a membership package where members have access to additional quarterly events and mentorship from experienced professionals. 

Our chapter launched in January 2024 and we've gotten off to a great start!  Since our Launch Party in January, we've hosted 4 Executive Speaker Series, 3 Networking Happy Hours, 2 Executive Panel Discussions, 2 Member-Only events, and 1 St. Joseph Saturday Retreat.  In total, we've had over 200 unique individuals attend our events.  At each event, young adults can learn from each other and from older, more experienced local Catholic professionals about how to live their faith through their work.  YCP South Central PA has been able to pull from all corners of the Harrisburg Diocese in 2024 and we're only getting started! 

In 2025, we're looking to build on the momentum we've gained in year 1 to continue to deliver high-quality free monthly events open to all young adults in the Harrisburg Diocese and quarterly events open to our members. However, we need your help! 

To start a YCP chapter, YCP National charges $25,000, which needs to be paid in full by the end of the first full year.  We have $4,800 to go.  We are also charged $5,000/year as a franchise fee by YCP National and $1,200/year for our organization's insurance.  If we are able to raise $11,000, we would be able to cover the remainder of the start-up fee, the 2025 franchise fee, and the 2025 insurance fee!  

Any additional money raised will go toward our budget for monthly events.  We ask that you prayerfully consider donating to our organization!
