Young Life Upper Blue Ridge

Our mission is introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.  We do that by entering the world of kids and meeting them on their turf to build bridges of authentic friendship with them.  In doing so, we earn the right to share the best news that's every been told - the story of Jesus and His love for them.

Young Life doesn't start with a program.  It starts with adults who care enough to enter the world of teenagers.  Our leaders log many hours with kids listening to their stories and learning about their likes and dislikes, joys and heartaches.  Because we believe that kids' lives are changed for the better when a caring adult comes alongside them to share the love of Jesus with them.  During the challenges of this past year, we have not retreated but instead developed innovative ways to continue connecting with kids.  We will keep pressing forward towards our goal that every kid will get to hear the Gospel from a caring adult they know and trust.
