Since 1919, YWCA Tampa Bay has provided opportunities for women by offering safe housing, academic and job skill training, and leadership in organizing activities to advance women’s rights. Today, the organization offers a diverse range of programming which includes childcare, women’s economic empowerment, and racial justice advocacy, serving more than 1,000 individuals annually. As the YWCA redefines its strategies to address the growing needs of women, children, and families, three words articulate the purpose of an organization that has served this community for 94 years. YWCA Tampa Bay exists to Help. Give. Hope.
