Youth in Mind

Youth In Mind was formed to provide support for youth and young adults to build towards mental stability and to evaluate and influence the practices within the mental health system by working with them to address the obstacles that exist that prevent them and the community from seeking help, and improving practice and policy.

Many young people have difficulty seeking effective mental health supports and services, housing, sustained employment and other basic needs. This combined with a lack of community and family support, trauma and poverty, young people find themselves vulnerable and in need of crucial support structures – especially those with psychiatric conditions.

Your support enables our member-led organization to solidify our regional structures of support and continue providing opportunities for our membership to expand our reach to those who need our support the most.
