Our Philosophy

Here at the City Heights Music School, we are passionate about creating a learning environment that represents a diversity of life experiences. More than just a music school, we believe in teaching skills that allow for an understanding and celebration of our similarities, our differences, and our basic desire to become better versions of ourselves.   We offer classes and curriculum that encourage students of all ages artistically, intellectually, and emotionally. We bring movement and mindfulness to our instruction and, as we become a center for music and arts, provide a space for local artists, dancers, and musicians to share their stories and talents at monthly gatherings. The culmination of our efforts and accomplishments are presented at events throughout the year, fostering the development of a vibrant and interconnected community.
