The mission of the Youth Service Bureau is to provide advocacy, counseling, education, and intervention for at-risk youth and their families, helping them reach their full potential.

Youth Service Bureau serves St. Tammany and Washington Parishes, with offices located in Covington, Slidell, Bogalusa, and Franklinton. Our programs include Crossroads (delinquency intervention), Court Appointed Special Advocates or "CASA" (adult volunteers who speak in court for the best interests of abused and neglected children), Families In Need of Services or "FINS" (intervention for pre-delinquent or ungovernable behavior), Truancy Assessment and Service Center or "TASC" (early truancy intervention), and Options (outpatient adolescent substance abuse treatment). We serve over 1,700 at-risk youth every year.

Client completed all Crossroads program requirements, obtained high school diploma, and completed probation June 2024. The client has enrolled into college at Southeaster Louisiana University and will attend January 2025
