     Each year in Yuma County there are nearly 2000 victims of abuse. Infants to elderly, boys to girls, male and female; abuse knows no boundaries. These acts that range in child abuse, child molestation, domestic violence, elder abuse, and rape have no demographic. At Amberly's Place we have a highly skilled crisis response team that reports on scene with law enforcement and builds a relationship of trust so that a victim can know their rights and know that they are not alone.At Amberly's Place a victim only has to tell their story one time which empowers them to start their path of becoming a survivor. At Amberly's Place we have trained forensic interviewers that assist in gathering crucial evidence along with an exam room that allows us to gather needed medical evidence. With the ability to take all information and gather much needed evidence in one safe location a victim is able to feel more at peace and go through less stress thanks to the specialty training our crisis response advocates have gone through.

     Each day a victim walks through our door, that same person leaves being a survivor, knowing that their voice has been heard, knowing they are not alone, and that justice can be served.
