The YWCA of Greater Atlanta is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
Financial support will make a tremendous impact on our efforts around advocacy, social justice, health, safety, education and economic empowerment for women, girls and their families.
Essential programs include:
- Georgia Women’s Policy Institute, YWCA’s signature advocacy program that brings together women from diverse backgrounds to learn how to develop and support real-world statewide policy proposals that impact the lives of women and girls.
- ENCOREplus, a breast cancer information and awareness program that works to reduce the impact and mortality rate among medically underserved and underinsured women.
- Teen Girls in Technology (TGI Tech), a girls-only program to broaden girls’ knowledge and interest in science, technology, engineering, arts/design and math (STEAM).
- Early Learning Academy, offering quality, affordable childcare and early education that stimulates learning and promotes the cognitive, social and emotional development of children ages 6 weeks through 5 years.
