Zoi's Animal Rescue

A nonprofit organization

Our mission is to function as a no-kill organization which is dedicated to all animal rescue, providing safe haven, rehabilitation and veterinary care for abandoned, injured, lost, neglected or abused animals and then placing them into responsible and stable homes. We strive to help stop the hurt by ending the cycle of abuse, ignorance and pet overpopulation through low-cost spay/neuter and educational programs. Further, we strive to improve the lives of people through bonding with pets.

At Zoi's Animal Rescue, we believe every animal deserves a second chance-and that compassion is one of the most powerful forces for change.
Since 2005, we've been on a mission to rewrite the stories of neglected, abandoned, and abused dogs throughout the greater Brazos Valley. What began as a small effort has blossomed into a 501(c)(3) foster- and donor-based rescue that has saved hundreds-if not thousands-of lives over the years.
As a proud no-kill rescue, we focus on the heartbreaking crisis of dumped and forgotten dogs in Grimes County, providing each one with safety, healing, and hope. Through the dedication of our foster families, volunteers, and supporters, these animals receive veterinary care, nourishment, socialization, and-most importantly-the chance to find a loving forever home.
Every single gift fuels this life-saving mission. Because we are 100% foster-based, every dollar goes directly to animal care, not overhead. That means your generosity truly changes lives-providing emergency medical treatment, food and medicine in foster homes, and safe transport to families ready to welcome their new pup.
For nearly two decades, we've proven that second chances saves lives!

Testimonials

Mary-
"We adopted Dollar and Coffee, a 10-year old bonded pair of miniature dachshunds. They lost their home when their "dad" had to enter hospice. We are so grateful that Zoi's was there until we met them and fell in love. Sadly, we lost Coffee about a year ago, but he had a good life with us. Dollar continues to thrive and boss around her much larger "sister" Cheddar, another rescue that is a lab-beagle mix."
