Zlac Foundation

The ZLAC Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) organization, was founded in 2009 to provide, in cooperation with ZLAC Rowing Club, an opportunity for high school girls and women to learn the skill of rowing, to promote national and international amateur rowing and competition, to provide education on the history of rowing, and to engage in other activities that preserve the sport and history of rowing within the San Diego community and throughout the world.

Our foundation has partnered with Community Rowing, America Rows, and Cathedral High School Junior Rowing Program, as well as ZLAC Rowing Club, to further promote and support amateur and competitive rowing in our communities. The Foundation conducts fundraising events throughout the year to fund Learn to Row Camps and help subsidize other rowing opportunities for high school rowers.
