The Zoo provides formal conservation education classes, including: Learning Adventures KidScience Zoo U Zoo Camp Learning Adventures features classes for students from pre-school through college age. Learning Adventures classes are available on Zoo grounds or at schools or other sites through our Zoomobile Outreach Program. KidScience is a two-year, hands-on, research-oriented program for middle school students. Acceptance is granted based on academic accomplishment, potential for achievement, interest in science, and teacher recommendation. Students work through the scientific method to answer questions of their choosing. Each student works on individual or small-group projects, a class project, and a Zoo research project, in concert with the Zoo research team. Zoo U is for graduates of KidScience. Students meet every other Saturday for two hours in semester-long courses. Teachers give students an overview of the topic, introduce the most up-to-date
