A CHILD'S WISH OF LOUISIANA, INC.

"A Child's Wish" is a Louisiana based non-profit organization fulfilling the dreams of Louisiana children who must make plans one day at a time. Through the efforts of our volunteers, and with the support of our generous donors and partners, we have helped hundreds of critically-ill children experience the joy of having one of their wishes granted.

Our staff is comprised entirely of volunteers, which makes it possible that every dollar we receive is utilized directly for our children. These volunteers are the lifeblood of the organization and donate precious time, talent and energy to making wishes come true for critically-ill children.

We rely exclusively on the generosity of private donations and funding to grant wishes. We also have various sponsorship levels to meet any level of desired monetary gift.

Our greatest ally is the universal love we share for children. Our most uncompromising enemy is time.

We do wishes of all types. We recently had a young girl afflicted with spinal muscular atrophy. Her deteriorating condition prevented her from traveling so we threw her a Moana-themed tea party at a local venue. It was adorable!
