Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America, St. Louis Chapter

A nonprofit organization

Since 1981, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, St. Louis Chapter (AAFA-STL) has served children and youth up to age 22 experiencing asthma and allergies in Missouri and Illinois.

BREATH, the home-based program, serves children and families who do not have health insurance, are in the process of applying for Medicaid or state-funded insurance for children, or have insurance and need assistance with out-of-pocket expenses.

RESCUE, the school-based program, reaches K-12 public schools in MO and IL to provide students, teachers, and nurses with training, medication, and supplies.

AAFA-STL believes all children should have access to lifesaving treatment, disease management education, healthy air quality, and resources to overcome barriers to attending school and leading happy, healthy lives without limits.
