Access Health Louisiana

A nonprofit organization

Access Health Louisiana (AHL) is a network of Federally Qualified Health Centers. Our network of more than 100 providers sees more than 44,500 patients with a total of more than 120,000 encounters per year. Our community health centers are in twelve Louisiana parishes including: Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, St. Charles, Washington, Plaquemines, Tangipahoa, Iberville, Allen, St. James and Rapides. Our mission is simple: to improve the health of the people we serve.

Access Health Louisiana (AHL) is on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Infectious Disease Physician and Clinical teams are serving the community by offering COVID-19 testing at public sites in southeast Louisiana. We are actively educating and caring for our chronically ill patients during this outbreak ensuring that they have the best care possible. Our Mobile Health Clinic is on the road assisting the Louisiana Department of Health, National Guard, as well as local and parish governments test rural communities for positive COVID-19 cases. Our Psychiatrists and Social Workers are actively engaging with patients who are dealing with depression, anxiety and trauma from social isolation. Our Physicians and Nurse Practitioners are using telemedicine to reach patients and help care for them during this time when traveling into a clinic could put their health at risk. We thank our wonderful Healthcare Heroes and hope you will support the great work that they do on a daily basis!
