Arizona Curriculum Theater Inc.

A nonprofit organization

Arizona Curriculum Theater Inc. (ACT Inc.) was founded for charitable and educational purposes as defined by Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization produces live theatrical performances, shows, and workshops in schools, parks, libraries, and other places accessible to the public on subjects which cover arts, language arts, social studies, and history derived from the established curricula of Arizona schools for grades 4 through 12.

Arizona Curriculum Theater has brought the arts to more than 175,000 Arizona schoolchildren offering more than two dozen interactive programs, performances, and workshops on history, literature, math, and science. We are finding new ways of connecting the arts and curriculum-- teaching math through music, science through dance, history through reenactment, and literature through performance. Our integrated arts programs have proven benefits such as improved attendance records and increased academic achievement. We reach students who struggle in a traditional school environment.
