Adams Street Foundation, Inc.

The Adams Street Foundation (ASF) was founded in 2008 by the
administrative leadership of the Urban Assembly School for Law & Justice
(SLJ) with the support of the Robin Hood Foundation. ASF serves the students of
SLJ with high-quality, broad-based enrichment programs and support services so
that every student not only graduates high school but attends and succeeds in
college. ASF is the in-house, non-profit partner to SLJ, responsible for
integrating pre-college enrichment and preparation for college and career into
the school’s curriculum. ASF and SLJ staff work together to provide
individualized programming to each student. Core components of this work
include SAT prep, college tours, financial aid counseling, essay feedback, mentoring,
study abroad opportunities, internships, networking with seasoned
professionals, after-school learning academies, career site visits, and
coaching students through the early admissions process.
