Algiers Economic Development Foundation is guided by three core pillars--small business support, community development and growth, and local economic development--to build a sustainable, business friendly environment that grows investments and jobs in Westbank New Orleans. Through advocacy, marketing, and business development, recruitment and retention, AEDF has attracted more than $200 million in investments that has created over 1,700 new jobs since 2014. AEDF takes a multi-pronged approach to economic development, working with businesses large and small, government officials, and community leaders to promote private business development, public investment, and community events.
