AGE FRIENDLY CENTRAL BROOKLYN INC

Age Friendly Central Brooklyn, Inc. (AFCBI) is a community-based organization led by a volunteer group of older adults that builds upon the rich experience of adults age 62 and over to ensure they can age in place. We offer a variety of programs and services to promote healthy aging and longevity. AFCBI levels local resources to improve the overall quality of life of this growing population. 

AFCBI is dedicated to affirming the values and voice of older adults by declaring our existence and taking our rightful place in the community. We are committed to sharing ideas and resources that empower older adults into meaningful action, engaging with others to foster inclusiveness and a strong sense of belonging, and nurturing a lifestyle centered on health and wellness. These values guide our mission and ensure that older adults are recognized, supported, and empowered to thrive.
