Who We Are

For over 45 years, the Alamo Heights School Foundation has partnered with the Alamo Heights Independent School District. The AHSF was established in 1971 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization to generate stable, ongoing revenue for AHISD, thereby enhancing educational resources for both students and teachers. AHSF is the oldest public school foundation in Texas. Since inception, with the generosity of our community, the Foundation has provided millions of dollars to meet critical educational needs of AHISD as well as to provide ongoing support of its teachers and students.
The Alamo Heights School Foundation’s mission is to mobilize community support for current and long-term strategies that enhance and perpetuate district-wide academic opportunity and excellence for our children. The funds raised by AHSF help ensure that AHISD remains one of the best school districts in the state.
