Alper JCC Miami

For more than 30 years, Alper JCC Miami, affectionately known as the “J,” has been a true hub for the South Miami-Dade community. The J is so much more than a community center—it provides enrichment, education and recreation, all while working to inspire and bring together the local community. Support from corporate donors enables the J to continue to provide and broaden programs and services, maintain the extensive facilities that cover more than 23 acres, provide much-needed scholarships to our community members in need and help the J thrive.

The J’s mission is to strengthen the Jewish and broader community of South Miami-Dade with engaging programs and services that are rooted in and promote Jewish values, ethics and traditions and that meet these needs in an inclusive environment. The J’s exceptional staff and dedicated volunteers aim to do that and more by providing much-needed services and engaging the community through quality programming and crowd-pleasing events.

Alper JCC Miami proudly impacts more than 5,000 unique monthly visitors through its wide array of programs and services. From the award-winning Early Childhood Development Center, which serves more than 165 students annually, to its robust Cultural Arts programming, including the alwaysanticipated Alper JCC Miami Berrin Family Jewish Book Festival, and even its state-of-the-art Fitness Center. Our brand-new Aquatics Center opened July 2025, featuring a pool and splash pad. The J is constantly evolving and expanding to meet the needs of its members.

Enriching the lives of so many, it is a place to learn and grow, meet lifelong friends and experience the joy this vibrant community has to offer. Above all, the J offers a sense of belonging and being a part of something greater.
