The Alpha Players

The Alpha Players is a non-profit 501(c)3 community theater group residing in St. Louis County, Missouri. We were founded in 1959 by a group of theater loving Florissant residents looking to bring dramatic arts to the newly settled suburbia. Today-63 years later- the group continues to thrive, having established a reputation for presenting quality productions and creating a nurturing environment for those who wish to learn and explore the dramatic arts. We produce at least three main stage productions a year, two plays and one musical performed at the Florissant Civic Center Theatre by community adults and children. We have also added concerts and a holiday show to our season. Our production of Wit raised $1,000 for the St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Association. We strive to be caring members of our community, producing shows they will enjoy and providing performing, learning and volunteer opportunities for all.
