Our Solid Ground Project offers a hand-up approach for individuals and families who will not qualify for ordinarily available assistance programs, and allows us to focus on the prevention side of ending homelessness.

For the average cost of $3,000 over 6 months, we have had success keeping residents in their homes, restructuring their budget, and allowing for appropriate time to implement changes. 

Families with school-age children now have an option that will keep their children in the same school which contributes to a better learning environment, better mental health, and fewer social challenges.

The University of Texas's two-year survey found that it cost the taxpayers approximately $14,480 per year for anyone experiencing homelessness.
