American Legion Lake Shore Post 105

A nonprofit organization

$1,946 raised by 17 donors

Chartered in 1921 to support local veterans of World War 1, the Lakeshore Legion Post 105 is one of the oldest American Legion Posts in Erie County (PA). Since it's inception the Post has made supporting local veterans, children and community organizations it's priority. Post 105 has consistently for over 100 years, ensured that any organization that request support, receives that support from the leadership of the Post.

Unfortunately, due to lasting affects of COVID and some bad timing, the Post is in need of support to help with costly repairs associated with maintaining the building. To raise money for the building fund, the leadership of the Post have established a separate bank account for funds generated from both short term and long-term changes. These include utilizing social media to promote Post's the rental/ catering business, organizing & scheduling member social events for the year in advance, and taking the lead to work in conjunction with our regional veteran organizations, social clubs, school district and children's organizations to ensure that any fundraising events are not conflicting with these organizations fundraising events.

Please consider help supporting Post 105 so the Post can continue to raise awareness and support for local veterans causes & support the local organizations that have come to rely the support that the Post has provided in years past.
