American Resiliency

A nonprofit organization

American Resiliency's mission is to make local climate projection accessible, understandable, and available to every American. We provide up-to-date information about observational Earth science and climate modeling, translating complex info into projected ground impacts, as well as recommended response strategies. Our work supports individuals and communities as they seek to understand and respond to change.

American Resiliency has reached about 450,000 individuals through our engaging, accessible YouTube content, available at www.youtube.com/c/americanresiliency. Our new volunteer program is helping to build community resilience in 28 states, with 70 active volunteers enrolled for our first cohort.

The AR Community communicates with each other and strategizes about how to respond to change at the local level through our forums, interest groups, and on our YouTube Channel. We have a returning audience of about 7,000 people every month, with hundreds of people actively engaging in conversation and connection every week. Our educational content is driving changes in land management, civic engagement, and home resilience building in households and working farms across America.
