Who We Are?:

Amped is more than just an organization; we are an ecosystem that emphasizes creativity, self suitability through music, education, technology, and business. Dedicated to empowering Black and Latinx communities through education, entrepreneurship, and the arts. We focus on creating opportunities and uplifting families by providing completely free programs that foster growth, innovation, and resilience.

What We Do?:

At Amped, we believe in supporting the whole family. Our three core programs—Russell Technology Business Incubator (RTBI), Technology Workforce Training Program, and Music Academy—are designed to build pathways to success for every family member.

Russell Technology Business Incubator (RTBI): We provide Black and Latinx entrepreneurs with the tools they need to launch and grow their businesses, including access to capital, mentorship, networking opportunities, and mental health support. Our focus on addressing the racial wealth gap is critical in building generational wealth and strengthening our communities.

Technology Workforce Training Program: We prepare individuals for careers in the tech industry through hands-on training, certification programs, and job placement support. By focusing on technology skills, we help our community members secure jobs in high-demand fields and create economic stability for their families.

Music Academy: We offer free music education programs year-round for youth ages 8-18. Our programs go beyond music, instilling confidence, creativity, and discipline while creating a sense of belonging and community.

Our Impact:

We’ve helped over 60 entrepreneurs in the RTBI, with an incredible 7 out of 10 businesses surviving their first 18 months—reversing the national trend.

Our Workforce Technology Program is equipping  individuals with tech skills that lead to sustainable employment, changing the economic trajectory of families.

Our Music Academy provides a safe space for over 600 young people annually to explore their creativity and find their voice through music, all at no cost to families.
