Angel Paws Advocates

A nonprofit organization

Angel Paws Advocates is an East Texas 501C3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing abandoned and shelter animals before they are euthanized. We help to rehome many animals when they have lost their human to death, divorce, moving or change in financial status. We provide medical care, loving foster homes and a 2nd chance at life through adoptions. We work with multiple co-rescues in northern states to adopt these animals into loving homes.

We are currently saving animals who are abandoned, left in shelters and work with many families who need to rehome their pets. We tag and pull animals from Smith County AC, Tyler AC, Longview AC, Carthage, Mt Pleasant, Winnsboro, Henderson to name just a few. With the pandemic and skyrocketing inflation, we are seeing astounding increases in the need for assistance from our rescue. The puppy overpopulation has escalated so that we are all overwhelmed. Realistically we can not help them all, but we are certainly trying to make an impact on our community and beyond. Our next goal is to secure a facility where we care prepare these animals for their loving homes. In just a few short months we have saved almost 20 moms with litters in East Texas. Rescue has become so much more complex due to the substantial increase in need and we are advocates for these loving lives. Their appreciation is shown in their eyes and wiggle butts once they are safe in their new homes. Please consider giving to APA, your funds will be used to the good of these voiceless animals.
