Animal Helper

Animal Helper is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating the suffering of animals, mainly canine, in the Greater New Orleans area. Animal Helper rescues canines from local government shelters, and occasional owner surrenders, who have been scheduled for euthanasia or who have been deemed non-adoptable. These animals are then placed into foster homes where their medical and behavioral needs are addressed by volunteer foster parents.

Animal Helper is always in need of donations as the number of animals in need never ends. Our normal donations have dwindled greatly. This year Give Nola Day donations are vitally important for us to continue saving the ones who would not be given a second chance.
