A PLACE IN ZION

To challenge disenfranchised individuals to embark upon a journey leading to positive self-discovery while increasing their access to life-changing, multicultural, and work-development programming that encourages personal and professional growth.

A PLACE IN ZION first program offering is the Alzheimer's Enrichment Program (AEP). It is a day program for seniors with mid-stage dementia. AEP utilizes an innovative Montessori approach empowering clients to engage in self-directed activities in a stimulating environment, that promotes cognitive, physical and social stimulation; Thereby resulting in increase independence, self-esteem, decreased cognitive decline and improved quality of life. Future program offerings will include a Youth Empowerment and Advocacy Program, Speciality Skills Training Program, "The Village" Affordable Housing, and Child Care Centers.
