19 Years ago we held the first “Make a Difference for Dutch”
walk following our beloved friend and family member Frank “Dutch” Culbertson’s
passing from appendix Cancer. Dutch Grew up in Briarcliffe and was a Springfield resident where he lived with his Wife Judy and children-Kelly, Matt and Colleen,

Judy Culbertson surrounded by Family and friends felt
compelled to act with a simple mission from the heart- to continue Dutch’s
battle with appendix cancer.

Our goals were:

·       
Hold a walk to Honor Dutch’s memory

·       
Raise funds for appendix cancer research and
education-work towards a cure!

·       
Improve the state of research, education and
resources so patient and patient family’s in the future have a better quality
of life as they face this horrible disease and the challenges it presents.

Throughout the years many members of the appendix cancer
community from near and far attended and supported the event to support their
loved ones effected by Appendix Cancer. Supporters flew in from Canada and
other distances as few or no other events were being held to support research of
Appendix cancer and PMP. During those years the ACPMP Research Foundation was
formed and continues to grow and do outstanding work.

The Walk has now evolved into the Appendix Cancer Global walk 2025
