The Arizona Geriatrics Society mission is to advance the best healthcare practices for older Arizonans by supporting the education of interprofessional geriatric health providers

Arizona Geriatrics Society is the preeminent source of education for interprofessional geriatric health providers in Arizona. Our goals are:

• To assist in the continuing education of medical students, physicians and allied healthcare professionals in issues of particular concern regarding the elderly.

• To serve as a forum for discussion of issues pertaining to geriatric medicine and gerontology by concerned healthcare professionals.

• To facilitate the growth and future opportunities for professionals involved in geriatrics and gerontology.

• To support and encourage on-going educational research in aging and geriatric care.

• To improve the health and well being of the increasing number of older adults.

• To affect public policy that advances geriatric care issues and supports geriatric care practitioners
