THE ART RESOURCE CENTER

The ART RESOURCE CENTER ("ARC") is a non profit 501(c)(3) corporation whose mission is to collect reusable art worthy materials from individuals and industries and distribute them, free of charge, to nonprofit entities for the purpose of making art.

The ARC is run 100% by volunteers and sustained by donations. The ARC offers over 3,000 SF of space, packed floor to ceiling with recycled art worthy materials, regularly supplying a constant stream of those in need. In addition to our relationship with multiple businesses that regularly donate art worthy materials, we have become a donation destination for artists and the community at large. In-fact, everything we give away is given to us by others.

In addition to our social mission of supplying art worthy materials to those in need, we periodically provide art classes and maintain a permanent gallery space for rotating exhibitions by artists of art made from recycled materials.

We estimate our reach into the community has assisted over 50,000 people each year who have been touched by the creative hands and minds of those who regularly come to The ARC for supplies; K-12 teachers, charities, non profits and shelters as well as museums and theater groups.
