Awake Ministries extends love, hope, and redemption through faith-based addiction recovery programs and food distribution in Shelbyville, KY.

We know our work goes beyond the individual.
Healthy people impact their families.
And healthy families impact our communities.

Unlike many other 30-day recovery programs, ours lasts for 4 months and comes at no cost thanks to donors like you.  

This looks like:

1.  Healing and deliverance through the 12 Steps of Celebrate Recovery, discipleship, prayer, and behavioral health services.  

2.  Adult education to include communication, financial literacy, parenting classes, GED classes, and career readiness.  

3.  Workforce development at The Paddock Coffee Shop.  

4.  A launch into the community through volunteerism, job placement, and leadership development.  

Awake Ministries also oversees the largest food bank in the region. We serve the food needs of over 7,000 people monthly.  We rely heavily on the faithfulness of God and the support of our community to continue in our work.
